To push the body to its limit, Magali Milian and Romuald Luydlin put it through moments of turbulence and cruelty, probe its zones of breathlessness, suspension, amnesia, falling – with this question : how do you invent imaginary physical world? For La zampa, the work of the body is always manifested twice : dug into the flesh and reflected in vision. The dancers, engaged in disorganizing the space are assisted by a video artist. Acting on the set, on objects and on bodies, it become the eye that modifies, processing the real image to make it its own.
